DENVER—Hepatitis C infections linked to a surgery technician who exposed thousands of patients at two Colorado hospitals to the disease through dirty syringes is confined to one state.

Investigations were launched at hospitals in New York and Texas after authorities in Colorado charged 27-year-old Kristen Diane Parker with tampering with a consumer product and obtaining a controlled substance by deceit or subterfuge. Prosecutors say she switched syringes of the painkiller Fentanyl with ones filled with saline solution.

In a video of a debriefing released by prosecutors Friday, Parker said she never switched syringes at hospitals in Mount Kisco, N.Y., and in Houston.

Prosecutors say they believe Parker and have found no other victims in New York and Houston.
