NEW YORK—Two men linked to an alleged al-Qaida associate who’s accused of plotting to bomb New York City are going back before a Brooklyn judge.
Adis Medunjanin (AH’-dees meh-DOON’-yah-neen) and Zarein Ahmedzay (ZAH’-rayn AH’-mihd-zay) are scheduled for separate court appearances on Tuesday afternoon.
The two Queens residents say they’ve done nothing wrong.
They were arrested in the investigation of Najibullah Zazi (nah-jee-BOO’-lah ZAH’-zee). The Colorado airport driver pleaded not guilty last year to supporting terrorism.
All three men attended Flushing High School in Queens.
