FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A piano player who accompanied musical productions at a Fort Collins charter school faces child pornography charges after police found more than 5,000 images of child pornography on his computer.
Thirty-one-year-old Brian Kane is set to stand trial next month. He worked as a piano accompanist and substitute music teacher at Liberty Common School. Kane also worked as a DJ and live piano entertainer for his company called Piano Man Music Inc.
Kane faces two counts of sexual exploitation of a child and has a trial on Feb. 16. Police investigated Kane after the parents of a 14-year-old girl alerted police that Kane was making inappropriate contact with the girl online.
