Handmade Valentine’s Day cards by the students of Bromwell Elementary School will soon be available at Show of Hands, 210 Clayton St. Beginning Feb. 4, the cards will cost $3 each, and 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit Water for People (), a philanthropic organization selected by the Bromwell Student Council. “It is fun to make the cards and it helps lots of people,” says third-grader Adrian Oteiza. “First it helps the students because it’s fun and then it helps the person who receives a beautiful handmade card. Interior design exhibit
An exhibition of work by students in the Interior Design Program at Arapahoe Community College will be on display Wednesday through March 3. “The boards, drawings, renderings and plans themselves are not only fine representations of what they (illustrate) ‘full scale,’ but can stand alone as intrinsic works of art and graphic design,” says Trish Sangelo with the Colorado Gallery of the Arts at ACC.
An opening reception will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. The gallery is located on the first floor of the college’s annex building at 5900 S. Santa Fe Drive, Littleton.
