DENVER—Colorado union workers at Albertsons have reached a tentative agreement with the grocery chain on a new contract.
The workers are part of the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 that has also represented Safeway and King Soopers workers in new contract negotiations. The union represents about 17,000 workers at the grocery chains.
The union said Wednesday that its members had tentatively agreed to a new contract and that Denver workers would vote on it Thursday, while Colorado Springs and Grand Junction workers would vote Friday and Tuesday respectively.
Details of the deal were not available.
King Soopers union workers accepted a new contract last month, while Safeway employees rejected the latest offer from their employer.
