Northbound Interstate 25 was closed for more than two hours Wednesday afternoon in Denver after a man crossing the busy stretch of highway was hit and killed by a semi.
The man’s name has not been released. The reason he might have been in traffic near West Eighth Avenue is being investigated, said Sharon D. Avendaño, a Denver Police Department spokeswoman.
