San Diego St. 59, CSU 38

SAN DIEGO — CSU coach Kristen Holt was not in the mood to give the Aztecs (13-6) much credit after the loss, saying, “They played sloppy, but we were worse.”

CSU (11-9) had a season- high 35 turnovers, and a season-high 17 steals were not enough to offset the giveaways.

Arkansas St. 74, DU 58

JONESBORO, Ark. — A rare snowstorm in Arkansas seemed to put the chill on the Pioneers (13-8), who fell behind 27-9 to start the game.

DU was able to cut the deficit to eight points with a 13-3 run, but the Red Wolves (9-12) never let DU get closer than nine points thereafter.

Colorado Christian 71, Metro St. 68

The Cougars (10-8) took the lead for good at Auraria Events Center on Juanise Cornell’s jumper with 3:32 to play, and Metro (12-8) could muster only two free throws down the stretch.
