Ron Miller hopes Aurora is in better shape now than it was when he first got there 13 years ago.
Miller, who turns 62 next month, is retiring as city manager — a bittersweet move for a man who has overseen the design and construction of a municipal center and a state-of-the- art water-purification and recycling project.
Miller has not set a departure deadline. He plans to work with the Aurora City Council before he leaves to ensure a smooth transition.
