COLORADO SPRINGS — Two Fort Carson soldiers were arrested early Sunday for allegedly carrying guns downtown.
The first incident happened about 1:20 a.m., when police spotted two men walking in an alley toward Sodo nightclub. According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, the men hid two handguns near a vehicle when they heard the officers. One of the men got away, and the other, Robdrick E. Robinson, 21, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm while intoxicated. He was released to the U.S. Army Provost Marshal’s Office.
The second incident happened about 1:40 a.m., when police saw a man get an object out of his car and head toward Club Syn. Officers stopped the man outside the club. Police said he would not cooperate with officers, and they found a handgun in his pocket when he was detained. The man, Terence Henry, 28, was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon, and prohibited use of a weapon. He was released to the U.S. Army Provost Marshal’s Office. The Gazette
