Need a little green? No, not that kind, but the type that can make NFL fans go all atwitter — Super Bowl turf. For the first time, end zone and midfield grass from the Super Bowl will be cut into 3-inch-by-3-inch squares, freeze-dried, encased in commemorative glass and sold for $99.99, plus shipping and handling, by Stadium Associates under an NFL licensing agreement. Grass where “special moments” occurred between the Colts and the Saints at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium will be cut into 144 pieces and sold for $134.99 each, plus shipping and handling.
