COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Two Fort Carson Soldiers have been arrested in Colorado Springs.
Police say the arrests occurred around the same time late Saturday night but weren’t related.
In the first, officers noticed a disturbance outside Club Syn and saw one person retrieve something from his car. Police say officers stopped the man and found a pistol in his pocket.
They say 28-year-old soldier Terence Henry faces obstruction and weapons charges. He was released to Army custody.
In the other incident, officers patrolling near Sodos nightclub spotted two men hiding something and upon investigation they found two handguns.
Police say 21-year-old soldier Robdrick Robinson was charged with possession of a firearm while intoxicated. He was also released to Army custody. The other man managed to elude police.
