FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A man accused of sexually assaulting one of his students at a private school in Estes Park has pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Thirty-five-year-old Anthony Ruiz entered the plea Tuesday. A count of sexual assault on a minor by one in a position of trust was dropped. Ruiz could be sentenced in March to four to 12 years in prison or to sex offender intensive supervision probation.
He was accused of providing alcohol to a 16-year-old Eagle Rock School student and having sex with her May 31. The girl later learned she was pregnant, and the school dismissed Ruiz.
