The theme of the CHOICES 2010 luncheon on Wednesday — “In Their Footsteps — In Their Shoes” — helped the Jewish Women’s Philanthropy Center of the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado focus on their mission of helping others as well as give them an idea for centerpieces. The organization had prominent women in the community decorate a classic pump, which one guest at each table will win during the event. Also tying in with the theme is speaker Jennifer Weiner, an author whose best seller “In Her Shoes” was made into a feature film. Luncheon is 11 a.m. at the Sheraton Hotel, 1550 Court Place.
