BOULDER, Colo.—Colorado football coach Dan Hawkins has suspended wide receiver Markques Simas indefinitely for an unspecified violation of team rules.
Hawkins did not publicly release details Friday, and Simas did not immediately return an e-mail seeking comment.
Simas redshirted in 2007 and missed the 2008 season due to academic ineligibility. He had 43 receptions for 575 yards and three touchdowns last season.
