DENTON, Texas — Josh White scored 17 points and North Texas defeated Denver 64-59 on Saturday night.

Shannon Shorter scored 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting for the Mean Green (17-8, 10-5), which moved into second place in the West Division of the Sun Belt Conference.

The Pioneers (14-11, 7-7) were led by Brian Stafford’s 22 points. Chase Hallam had 11 points.

LAKEWOOD — Jobi Wall had 25 points as the Cougars (10-12, 8-7) routed the Rangers (7-16, 2-13).

Colorado Mines 78, Metro State 69

GOLDEN — Grant Agee and Drew Hoffman scored 18 points each to lead the Orediggers (14-9, 11-4) over the Roadrunners (18-5, 11-4).

Reggie Evans had 20 points for Metro State.

AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Jazmine Foreman’s 17 points powered BYU (16-6, 7-3 MWC) past Air Force (3-21, 0-11).

GREELEY — Whitley Cox scored 30 points to lead the Bears (12-13, 4-7 Big Sky).

GOLDEN — The Orediggers (16-7, 10-5) rallied and outscored the Roadrunners (12-11, 7-8) 24-17 in the second half to force overtime.

LAKEWOOD — Juanise Cornell scored 16 points and the Cougars (14-8, 12-3) had five players score in double figures. Tae’lor Purdy led Regis (9-14, 2-13) with 20 points.
