A man killed early Saturday when he was run over by a truck in Lakewood has been identified as Ever Olivas-Ruelas, 33.
The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. in the 5400 block of West Alameda Avenue. Witnesses told police a fight involving many people had spilled into the parking lot of a restaurant-bar.
During the fight, a man identified as Joel Vargas-Ramirez, 28, is alleged to have run over Olivas-Ruelas.
Lakewood Police Department spokesman Steve Davis said Vargas-Ramirez was taken to the Jefferson County jail and held for investigation of first-degree murder.
