The legendary author and magazine editor (she helmed Cosmopolitan for 32 years) drew both praise and ire from feminist leaders for her work, which includes the 1962 tome “Sex and the Single Girl.” She turns 88 years old Thursday. Anyone for a cosmo?
Cosmopolitan cocktail
From “Mr. Boston Official Bartender’s Guide.” Makes 1 drink.
Ingredients
1 1/4 ounces vodka
1/4 ounce lime juice
1/4 ounce Triple Sec
1/4 ounce cranberry juice
Directions
Shake well with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
