Two Penn State graduates, and no doubt big fans of Joe Paterno’s, are paying $9,000 for a chance to see through the eyes of the Hall of Fame football coach . . . sort of.

Michelle and Kevin Coppola won an auction for a pair of Paterno’s trademark, Coke bottle-thick glasses. Now all they will need are rolled-up khakis and jet- black sneakers, and they’ll be set for Halloween.

Paterno, 83, who is farsighted, had surgery last month to improve his vision. He now needs glasses only to read.
