LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska’s Kelsey Griffin is Big 12 women’s basketball player of the week for the second straight week and fourth time this season.
The 6-foot-2 senior forward from Eagle River, Alaska, averaged 18 points and 11.5 rebounds in the unbeaten and third-ranked Cornhuskers’ wins over Iowa State and Colorado.
Griffin had 25 points, 12 rebounds and a career-high six assists in Saturday’s 89-73 victory over Colorado. She had 11 points and 11 rebounds in a 60-50 win over Iowa State on Wednesday.
