The year’s biggest North American tour now has opening acts. U2 announced the warm-ups for its 360 Tour, which plays Denver’s Invesco Field at Mile High on June 12, on its website Sunday.
Colorado’s biggest-selling act in history, the Fray, will open three dates for U2 in Oakland, Calif.; Seattle; and Edmonton, Alberta. But Lenny Kravitz will open the Denver show — in addition to the Salt Lake City and Anaheim shows.
New York post-punk act Interpol will play its first shows in a long time, opening for U2 in Minneapolis; East Lansing, Mich.; Toronto; Chicago; Miami; and Philadelphia.
