The current crop of TV shows about models focuses on women, but if you’re more curious about the world of male modeling, check out “Model City,” a new series on Centric, a spinoff of BET. The reality show, which has its second of eight episodes tonight at 6, follows the lives of four black and Latino male models who are represented by RED Model Management. The guys — Wendell, Ibrahim, Nelson and Zeric — show how men and minorities in the business deal with fewer jobs and more competition while trying to get auditions and jobs. True to reality-show scripting, the series also shows jealous girlfriends, personal insecurities and how the men deal with rejection. Centric, channel 481 on Comcast
