Three people have been charged in the death of a teenager who was hit by a car and then beaten with a baseball bat.

Adrian Ray Quintana, 23, and Antonio Rios, 19, have been charged with murder in the first degree and conspiracy to commit murder, according to a media release from the Adams County District Attorney’s Office.

Lakiesha Vigil, 21, is charged with murder in the first degree and vehicular homicide, prosecutors said.

Around 1:30 a.m. Feb. 15, 16-year-old Nathan Bozonier was hit by a car and people got of the car and beat him with a baseball bat, police said.

Investigators have recovered a baseball bat they believe was used in the attack. They’ve also seized a car believed to be the vehicle that hit Bozonier, who was a freshman at Skyview High School.

Quintana, Rios and Vigil were advised of the charges against them this morning. A May 7 preliminary hearing has been scheduled in Adams County District Court.
