LITTLETON, Colo.—The Colorado school where two children were shot and wounded has reopened for students who want to talk to counselors or pick up items they left behind in the confusion that followed the attacks.

Deer Creek Middle School in suburban Denver had 20 counselors available Friday. They waited outside with teachers to greet students, parents and staff.

Classes resume on Monday.

One of the students wounded in Tuesday’s attack was treated and released. The other is hospitalized in good condition with rib and lung injuries.

Bruco Strong Eagle Eastwood has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Authorities have not determined a motive.

A teacher tackled Eastwood and pinned him to the ground with the help of another teacher.
