Snow is creeping back into the forecast for Sunday after a pleasant, dry Saturday.

Patchy fog will arrive Sunday in the Denver metro area, which has a 50 percent chance of snow after 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Snow is expected to continue into Monday morning. The National Weather Service said accumulations will range from 1 to 3 inches in most areas, with 2 to 5 inches in the foothills and Palmer Ridge by late Monday.

Tuesday and Wednesday should be drier and warmer, with the next chance for snow arriving on Thursday.
