USAA, an insurance and financial-services provider to military personnel and their families, announced Tuesday it will add 200 jobs by year’s end at its Colorado Springs customer-service center to handle financial advice and banking services that the center will start offering next month.

The Gazette reported that the San Antonio-based, member-owned company employs more than 1,000 at the Springs center to handle auto- and home-insurance policies, and last year gave members the option of meeting face-to-face by appointment with a financial adviser at the center.
