GREELEY, Colo.—A Weld County man who was shot by a police officer last year has been sentenced to probation for aiming a shotgun at an officer.
Twenty-five-year-old Justin Berry of La Salle was sentenced to three years of probation Wednesday. He was shot last September by a Greeley Police officer who approached Berry while the man was sitting no a front porch of a home.
The police officer was cleared and hasn’t been named. An investigation concluded that Berry aimed his shotgun at the officer and that Berry was intoxicated.
