GOLDEN — Jordan Gregory scored 10 of Pueblo East’s 12 points in overtime Friday and finished with a game-best 28 points as Pueblo East defeated Broomfield 68-63.
Pueblo East (24-1) won the Guy Gibbs Region and set up a meeting with Longmont in Thursday’s final four. Broomfield finished 19-7.
Gregory hit enough free throws to put Pueblo East up by three points. Then Mike Fabrizio stole the ball with eight seconds left and hit two free throws to ice the wild win. Pueblo East’s Mitch Secora (13 points) tied the game at the end of regulation.
“They just keep getting better,” Pueblo East coach Dave Ryder said.
