Led by Donte Nicholas’ 19 points, the Metro State men beat Colorado State-Pueblo 70-61 today to advance to Saturday’s RMAC title game.
The Roadrunners (23-6) used a 10-1 run late in the first half of the semifinal game to gain a 32-24 lead and were not challenged after that. Four of Metro’s five starters score in double figures.
Metro will play the winner of N.M. Highlands, which beat Colorado Christian 96-64 in the other semifinal.
