Jurors in the trial of Willie Clark spent about eight hours in deliberation Wednesday without reaching a verdict.
The jury asked two questions of Judge Christina Habas, who heard them both in chambers with lawyers from the state and defense. The court declined to make the questions public or reveal any other details.
Clark is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams on New Year’s Day 2007, and with 16 counts of attempted murder for firing on a limousine carrying Williams and friends.
The jury will return to work at 9 a.m. today. Felisa Cardona, The Denver Post
