And so it begins . . . track and field vs. Colorado’s fickle spring weather, usually as good of a battle as any individual or team matchup, will have an early-season showdown Saturday. The ThunderRidge Invitational will be held at Mullen as the new track at Stadium, Douglas County’s new venue, is yet to be completed. Bear Creek, Broomfield, Castle View, Chaparral, Chatfield, Cherokee Trail, Cherry Creek, Columbine, Dakota Ridge, Evergreen, Grandview, Highlands Ranch, Horizon, Legacy, Mountain Range, Mountain Vista, Mullen, Ponderosa, Regis Jesuit, Rocky Mountain, Sierra, Smoky Hill, Thornton and ThunderRidge will have individual and relay boys and girls entrants.
