An Army sergeant based out of Fort Carson has been arrested on suspicion of being an Internet predator.
Brian Kelly Wells, 28, of Colorado Springs was wearing his military uniform Wednesday when he showed up at a home in Adams County where he planned to meet an “underage girl” for a sexual encounter, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
Instead of corresponding over the Internet with a girl, however, Wells had been communicating with an undercover deputy.
Wells was held on suspicion of Internet luring of a child, Internet sexual exploitation of a child and attempted sexual assault on a child, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
