PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo.—An Air Force colonel assigned to the U.S. Northern Command in Colorado has been nominated for promotion to brigadier general.
Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced the nomination this week for Col. Kenneth E. Todorov.
Todorov is executive officer to the commander of Northcom, which oversees the U.S. military’s homeland defense and supports civilian authorities.
Northcom’s headquarters are at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs.
