Miller, Dann named to U.S. tennis team.
Lew Miller and Willie Dann, both of Denver, will represent the United States at the International Tennis Federation’s Senior World Team Championships in Mexico City starting Monday.
Miller and Dann will be part of a four-man team competing in the 35 to 55 age division, along with Dougal Williams of Portland, Ore., and Kline Sack of New York. Miller and Dann are no strangers on the Colorado tennis scene — or to each other.
They were doubles partners in the Safeway Men’s Open in Englewood last July, losing in the semifinals. Dann lost in the finals of the Colorado State Open and Denver City Open in 2007, both times to Cory Ross.
