COLORADO SPRINGS — Medical-marijuana growers were beaten up, shocked with a stun gun and had their pot plants stolen early today in a house in south Colorado Springs.
The robbery happened about 5 a.m. in the 2300 block of Lexington Village Lane, according to Colorado Springs Police.
Police say that three people wearing orange masks and black jackets forced their way into the home and assaulted the residents. They had a gun which they threatened the residents with before beating them up and taking the plants.
Police said the homeowners did have a growers’ permit for the marijuana.
