TACtile Textile Arts Center hosts Fiber Frenzy from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. A special preview show and sale for members only will be 6-8 p.m. on Friday. A $25 donation is your admittance to shop early. Memberships start at $25 and can be purchased at the door.
For the sale, admission is $3, with proceeds to benefit the arts center. The center will be filled with fabric, yarn, threads, notions, kits, patterns, magazines, tools, beads, buttons, collectibles from fiber collectors and even unfinished projects. From 3 to 4 p.m., it’s just $10 for everything you can stuff in a provided large bag. If it doesn’t fit in the bag, it’s half-off the marked price. 7777 E. Hampden Ave., inside Tamarac Square.
