Three armed men wearing bandannas burst into an Adams County business Tuesday night and fired shots in a jewelry heist.

The incident happened about 6:25 p.m. at Plaza Latina, in the 7000 block of Pecos Street, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

About 15 employees and five customers were in the business at the time. No one was shot or injured. The robbers fled the scene, perhaps in a white Ford Taurus, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The plaza houses several businesses, including a jeweler, a Western- wear vendor and a check-cashing business.

The Sheriff’s Office described the suspects as men armed with handguns and a shotgun. One wore baggy bluejeans and a blue jacket, one wore a red and white jacket, and the third wore an orange sweater. All wore bandannas.
