FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Colorado State University police have arrested a Fort Collins man suspected in 20 burglaries on campus.

Investigators say they recovered laptops, music players, digital cameras and phones after serving a search warrant at the home of Daniel Schinner, who has been convicted of similar crimes at CSU before.

Police say Schinner allegedly told officers he roamed campus in the early evenings and stole items from unlocked rooms after memorizing custodial schedules.

He is not a CSU student.

Schinner was arrested at his home and was booked on an existing warrant for separate burglary convictions in 2007 and 2008.

He faces 12 counts of second-degree burglary and one combined count of felony theft of more than $20,000.
