Few venues in central Denver can hold a candle to the under-the-stars beauty and bring-your-own-wine aesthetic of the concert series. Fans can expect some changes in this coming season, most notably the new sound system that will deliver the music to the masses. Fans might not notice, but the Gardens switched talent buying teams in the off-season — from Nobody in Particular Presents, which has helmed the series for many years, to Swallow Hill Music.
The Gardens-bound musicians look the same to us — something fans will appreciate. The Denver Botanic Gardens and Swallow Hill gave Reverb and The Denver Post a leak to its 2010 season, and here are three dates that show the continued diversity of the annual outdoor concert series.
June 15: Steve Martin with the Steep Canyon Rangers
July 1: Natalie Cole
Aug. 19: Bela Fleck, Zakir Hussain and Edgar Meyer
