ORLANDO, Fla. — A jail inmate claims a Florida mother charged with killing her 2-year-old daughter would use drugs sometimes to put the toddler to sleep so that she could go out with friends, according to documents released Tuesday. A second inmate says the woman would use antihistamines on the tot.
Maya Derkovic told detectives she was friendly with Casey Anthony in the Orange County Jail and that the 24- year-old mother confided in her about drugging her daughter so she could go out, according to a partial transcript of an interview with investigators.
