DENVER—February passenger traffic at Denver International Airport increased 5.1 percent in over the previous year.
Airport officials say 3.7 million people traveled through the airport this past February. In a statement released Wednesday, Denver Aviation Manager Kim Day attributes the increase to competitive air fares and the economic rebound that’s starting to affect air travel.
DIA traffic during the first two months of the year is up 4 percent.
