A fatal motorcycle accident on the northbound exit of Interstate 25 onto I-70 Sunday afternoon snarled traffic until evening, according to Denver police.
A motorcycle and a car collided at about 3 p.m., then the motorcycle hit a concrete barrier, killing the lone rider, said Denver police Lt. Matt Murray.
The car then hit a tractor-trailer, he said.
No others were seriously injured.
The name of the motorcycle rider has not been released. A detour to reach I-70 from I-25 was established at East 58th Avenue. The roads were reopened by 7 p.m.
