An Adams County woman whose home was invaded by four armed men Wednesday morning was arrested later in the day, after a search of her house found a marijuana-growing operation and other drugs.

The four men who entered her home about 9 a.m. also are under arrest.

The owner of the home at 10779 Akron St. in Henderson, Adrienne Bayless, 32, was arrested on counts of possession of Schedule II drugs with intent to distribute and child abuse. Tikim Tyiuan Alexander, 33, homeless; Kenneth Brandon Lacey, 24, of Aurora; Ryan Meyer, 32, of Aurora; and Ryan Harrison, 31, of Bowling Green, Ky., were arrested in the burglary.

Police responded to a report of a man leaving a suspicious vehicle to enter Bayless’ home and stumbled upon a home invasion in progress. Bayless and two young children inside fled.

Police quickly arrested three of the robbery suspects. They caught the fourth suspect after he broke into a home on East 104th Way to hide.Tom McGhee and Daniel Petty, The Denver Post
