Tim McGraw has lately served as an elder statesman in the world of pop-country — due in part to his reliably chart-topping albums and partly to his status as a sort of adopted father to superstars like Taylor Swift (who recalls finding summer love to one of his songs in her breakout hit “Tim McGraw”). Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($23.75-$67.50, Ticketmaster)

Korn and Rob Zombie will help KBPI celebrate its “Birthday Bash” at Comfort Dental on July 18 as part of the Mayhem Festival, including sets from Lamb of God, Five Finger Death Punch, Atreyu, Hatebreed and others. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($25-$69.50, Ticketmaster)
