Niwot High School students will return to campus Thursday, after environmental officials said that tests this afternoon showed school was safe from asbestos.
The school was evacuated and closed Monday after construction workers uncovered asbestos, a cancer-causing material, in the girl’s locker area of the school.
The school, with about 1,280 students, is undergoing a $20 million renovation.
