There were several folks milling around Dove Valley wearing blue and orange Tuesday.

Only it wasn’t Broncos blue and orange, and they weren’t there to see Kyle Orton. It was Gators blue and orange, and they were in the Broncos’ parking lot hoping to catch a glimpse of Tim Tebow.

The former Florida quarterback made Denver the latest — and likely last — stop on his predraft tour of NFL teams. Tebow spent several hours inside the Broncos’ Dove Valley headquarters and left by midafternoon.

The Broncos have three picks in the first two rounds of the April 22-24 draft: No. 11, No. 43 and No. 45. Tebow, the most debated prospect in this draft, could go as high as the middle of the first round or land in the second or even third round.

The Broncos have three quarterbacks on their roster: starter Kyle Orton, new challenger Brady Quinn and 2009 rookie Tom Brandstater. Surely, though, coach Josh McDaniels — a quarterback aficionado — is at least intrigued by Tebow.
