The Denver District Attorney’s Office is charging a 66-year-old Adams County businessman with the premeditated murder of his business partner, though Hae C. Park’s body has not been found.

Park, 64, was last seen by his family on March 27 when he went to meet his partner, Joong Rhee, at a Denver office.

Park’s Hummer was found a few days later in Denver, but his cellphone was found in Garfield County.

Records show Park owned a number of businesses, including a restaurant, motels, a laundromat and other properties across the metro region. Rhee worked at Newfoundland Mortgage in Centennial from August 2002 to September 2009, according to public records.

Rhee was charged Friday with first-degree murder and is being held without bond in the Denver County Jail, according to the District Attorney’s Office.

Investigators searched for Park’s body Thursday between Grizzly and Glenwood Springs. Denver police, Garfield County Sheriff’s deputies and local volunteers found nothing, however, the District Attorney’s Office said.

Anyone with information about about the case can call Denver police at 720-913-2000 or Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
