Inspired by the ancient traditions of China, the Shen Yun Show features carefully choreographed dancers, drummers and musicians performing in ornate costumes and elaborate sets. On the fringe
Today. The bizarre and somewhat insane New York fringe team of Harrington & Kauffman, frequent guests at the Boulder International Fringe Festival, will be back at Buntport Theater this weekend for the staging of their newest work, “Cabaret Terrarium.” It’s described as “an epic comedy of amnesia and redemption,” in which a bizarre Belgian cabaret singer named Gustave and his silent assistant Nhar travel the world in search of clues about Gustave’s family and his own shadowy past. Run, everyone, run
Sunday. All-ages race. Test your mettle at the Mile High Mile race. Open to everyone, the 1-mile race is designed for runners of all ages to push themselves a bit. The day starts with an untimed “family wave” of runners, and moves through age divisions. The race raises money for SPREE, the South Platte River Environmental Education program. 8-10:30 a.m. Sunday. The race starts and ends at the Colorado State Capitol, East 14th Avenue and Grant Street. Advance registration at is $25 for adults, $20 kids; add $5 for day-of registration.
