The Mad Hatter Tea Party to benefit Hospice of Saint John is from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Denver Design District, 595 S. Broadway. The event will feature a boutique of hat designs by Stephinity Salazar, as well as hat crafts for kids. Tickets are $15 for children ages 3-12; $25 for adults. Luncheon by Design starts at 11 a.m. May 5 to benefit the Design Council of the Denver Art Museum, 100 W. 14th Ave. Parkway. Guests will get a preview of the Hermès installation, “The Secret of Scarf Printing,” which will be on view at the museum through May 9. Women with Hattitude luncheon is at 11:30 a.m. May 6 in the Seawell Grand Ballroom at the Denver Performing Arts Complex, 14th and Curtis streets. More than 450 women are expected at the fifth annual event, which will feature a musical selection from “Mama Hated Diesels,” lunch and a hat parade that will include awards.
