The best things on my training table: My dad’s cooking; lots of pasta and chicken.
Premeet ritual: I wear the same thing to every meet. And right before I run, I take off my socks. I don’t run with socks.
Time management tip: I plan out my week every Sunday and the workouts I’m doing, then plan out which schoolwork is due during the week and which tests I have to take. It gives me a good idea of where I should be putting most of my time.
Planned career: Will major in finance and accounting; signed to compete in track at Missouri.
My family: Parents Patricia and Kenneth, sister Micaela.
I would love to visit: Italy.
What I like most about high school sports: I like the team concept. I had never been this close to teammates before, especially in track. My teammates are my best friends.
What I like least about high school sports: I like it all. The only bad thing about competing in Colorado, of course, is the weather. But you can’t control it.
