GREELEY, Colo.—A woman has been arrested on charges of trying to steal a narcotic pain-control patch from an elderly patient in Greeley.

Thirty-five-year-old Hillary Hartwig was arrested Thursday on suspicion of theft from an at-risk adult and drug possession.

She is accused of trying to remove a narcotic patch from a patient at the Good Samaritan Society Bonell Community. Authorities say Hartwig used to work under contract at the center.

Police say a physician had prescribed the pain patch for the patient.
